CITB Health & Safety in Construction (CSCS)

What is a CSCS card?

Anyone who wishes to work on a construction site will be required to hold a CSCS card. This applies to anyone from labourers to site managers, quantity surveyors to cleaners.

What’s involved?

Before you are able to sit your CSCS touch-screen test, you will first need to complete and pass Level 1 Health & Safety in a Construction Environment course at our training centre.

Once you have completed this training and passed the multiple choice exam, we will then be able to book your CSCS touch-screen test at a centre near to you.

Upon successful completion of both tests you will be issued with a green CSCS labourer card, valid for 5 years before refresher training and test is required.

Pre-Requisites

A good level of reading/writing English is required.

Candidates with no prior knowledge or experience in a construction environment are advised to download the CSCS Op/Spec 19 app in order to prepare prior to the course.
